Event 201

Event 201 was a live, role playing exercise that was held on Oct 18th. 2019. It was conducted by John Hopkins University, The World Economic Forum, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Public health directors from many countries participated in the exercise where they role played what would happen if their was a global Coronavirus outbreak. Topics included lock downs, masking the population, dealing with dissent and squashing “conspiracy theories” and promoting therapeutics and and eventually a vaccine.
