Debate continues over requiring masks in the classroom | Republican-American

Parents across the state are putting pressure on local boards of education to lift mask mandates. Yard signs with the message ‘Unmask Our Kids’ have become commonplace on many properties in the region.

A statewide parent coalition Unmask Our Kids has also formed, with more than 75 subgroups representing cities and towns. A protest the coalition held in front of Lamont’s mansion in Hartford last Thursday drew more than 100 parents and children demanding the governor to take action.
